Husayn’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dirham bi Zabīd’ (‘In the name of Allah. This dirham was struck in Zabid’ in blundered Arabic). Rev. Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Qadir billah (AH 381-422 / AD 991-1031), ‘al-Qādir / billāh amīr / al-muʾminīn’ (‘al-Qadir billah, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘jāʾa al-haqq wa zahaqa al-bāṭil inn al-bāṭila kāna zahūqā’ (‘Truth has come and falsehood has vanished.
